Do I need a credit card to start?
No. You get 14 days free with up to 5 employees, no card required. We'll only ask once you're ready to keep going past the trial.
Is MyRota actually for Ireland specifically?
Yes. MyRota has built-in checks that flag common issues under the Organisation of Working Time Act 1997, the Sick Leave Act 2022, the Protection of Young Persons (Employment) Act 1996 and Revenue PRSI thresholds. Irish bank holidays are pre-loaded. These are hints, not legal advice — always confirm with your accountant or HR adviser.
Is there an app for my staff?
Yes. Every employee gets the MyRota app on their phone. On iPhone (Safari → Share → Add to Home Screen) and Android (Chrome → Add to Home Screen) it gets a home-screen icon and launches full-screen — exactly like a native app — without ever touching the App Store or Play Store. They just open it to see their shifts, request leave and log a sick day.
What if my employees don't have an email?
You can generate a one-time invite link and share it via WhatsApp, SMS or in person. They set a password and they're in.
Can I export my data to my payroll software?
Yes. CSV, Excel (.xlsx), BrightPay and Thesaurus formats are all built in. Each separates regular hours from Sunday and bank-holiday hours so PRSI/USC handling is straightforward. Hand straight to your accountant.
What happens if I cancel?
You go to read-only mode for 30 days so you can export all your data. After that the data is permanently deleted. You can also export-and-delete on demand from Settings → Danger zone.
Is my data safe?
Data is stored in EU-region Postgres and Storage (Supabase), with documents and certificates locked behind short-lived signed URLs. We never share your data with third parties.

Yes. Use the in-app Support button or the contact form at /contact — both go straight to a real person. Email reply within one business day for all plans, priority on Pro.
